Sea Isle City offers a range of different activities for tourists, along with varying forms of accommodation to match. Being a beach resort town, where the expansive sands and natural beauty are paramount to the experience, activities often center on the water.

Five marinas that provide boat rentals and an assortment of water sport shops mean that time spent by the water won’t be restricted to making sandcastles and splashing in the shallows. For those less inclined towards the nautical, land-lubber pursuits like tennis and museums can be found: the Sea Isle City Museum offers a unique perspective on this part of the New Jersey shore, containing many antiques and curios that pertain to the history of the city’s people.

The tastebuds will not go unrewarded either: there is no shortage of restaurants in the area, a lot of them Italian and seafood establishments. Most are family-owned and have individual reputation for their specialties, like the Lobster Loft Restaurant. Bars and lounges are less profuse, but a number of hotels and motels have their own in-house entertainment lounges. It’s worth keeping in mind that the peak period here is from July to August – at other times of the year the city is reasonably quiet, and rates tend to drop down a fair bit.

Finding a place to stay in Sea Isle isn’t too hard, with a host of realty options available to tourists. Houses, apartments, and rentals are all on offer from numerous realty agents at generally competitive prices. Sharing can drop the price of accommodation drastically, but there are generally good bargains in the rental area to be found especially during off-peak season. Options range from traditional beach resorts to waterfront villas and bed-and-breakfast apartment lodging, catering for aesthetic tastes and budgets of all sorts.
