Sea Isle City in the summertime is a buffet of great places to eat. If seafood in your liking, you’ve come to the right place. But there are also a variety of other wonderful places to fill your appetite. I will give you a run down on some of my favorites.

Below we list what we consider to be some of the best restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Starting with breakfast, there are many options you have. If you are looking for something quick to pick up and take home, you can’t beat Mrs. Brizzles for their cinnamon buns. These have been featured on Al Rokers Traveling Channel. Other great pick up and go places include Nickleby’s for their great doughnuts and crumb cakes, and Mary Ann’s Bakery for their fine baked goods.

If you want to sit down and have breakfast, you have several choices. Valeries Place is one of my favorites with its unique menu and child friendly atmosphere (Ask to have your childs hand print on the wall). Carmens serves a very good breakfast and you are “sitting on the dock of the Bay” while you eat. Other good breakfast eats include Rick’s, and Uncle Bills in Strathmere.

Lunch can be a great take out order, pizza, or a seafood dish. One of my favorites is Giovanni’s Italian Delicatessen, which specializes in all of your favorite Italian meats, salads, and other specialties. Other take outs that are great include McGowan’s market with their specialty sandwiches, and Welshies, who specializes in hoagies and wings (best wings around).

If it is pizza you want, Sea Isle has many choices. My favorites are Azzurra’s that offer a great white pizza with ricotta cheese, Uncle Oogies who has a great plain pizza and also gourmet pizza’s, Denunzio’s with it’s brick oven pizza’s, and Amici’s who’s pizza with sweet peppers is awesome.

Dinner offers more options than you can try in the week you are visiting. For the freshest and best seafood around, nobody beats Mike’s Seafood. With an array of seafood dishes and a relaxed atmosphere on the bay, you can’t beat it. For a more variety of seafood and Italian, you have to go to Braca’s Café. Every meal on the menu is fabulous and save room for the amaretto cheese dessert. O’Donnells Pour House is also a favorite for steaks and seafood.

Eating is an experience in Sea Isle and the choices are endless. There are too many good choices to mention them all, so you will have to take my advice but also try some options of your own.
